Less time on site, no outer block work
One of the major benefits of off-site manufacturing is less time spent on site. It doesn't matter about the scale of your project, you will impact on the general public or your neighbours during the construction phase of a project. So less time on site is not only good for them it can also save significant labour and wasteage costs.
Our Magnesium Oxide (MgO) faced SIP panels are also saving significant amounts for projects that are still using an outer block work leaf. MgO is very highly moisture resistant and can be rendered directly on to the panel, removing the need for an outer leaf and cavity.
The video below is a typical small project, the 60 sqm two storey extension was erected in two days, the outer finish will be brick slips attached to our SIP panels, clients will move in before Christmas this year!
In an industry that tends to want to do what it's always done we have found that there are far-sighted clients who realise that building with blocks and wet cement have a limited future.
