We manufacture a standard range of SIP panels, these include an Egger board faced OSB panel and an Magnesium Oxide (MgO) faced panel. The advantages of MgO is that there is no need for an outer leaf, e.g. brick or block, the panels can be rendered directly on to the surface, or battened for timber cladding, brick slips etc. On the interior face MgO has a massive pull out strength, so hanging kitchen units directly without a dwang or noggin and if there are no electric or plumbing required on this wall then simply tape and fill for the finished wall, the panel has a 2 hour fire rating so is also suitable as infill panels in high rise buildings.
The new Hybrid panel allows the best of both worlds, the exterior face is the finished wall and the interior is OSB, ready for your service void to be installed. Using OSB as an interior facing brings down the cost of the panel and rationalises where the MgO is used to best effect.
